When emailing a photo from camera roll I used to be able to change the size before I sent the email. Now this option doesn't appear. I've tried emailing from the actual photo and also from the main screen of camera roll but no luck.

Try a reset. Nothing is lost and i curs many ills.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Next Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- After that restore from backup followed by restore to factory settings/new iPod.
Howqever, I would wait on the restore. Maybe iOS 6 will resolve the problem.
Thanks, I will try this later. Slightly annoying as I've only had it a week and thought I might have hit something by mistake. I will let you know how I get on.
Reset all settings failed to work so it looks looks as if I will have to go back to square one !!

I'm afraid IOS 6 still didn't resolve the problem. Do you know what I will lose if I reset to factory settings - is it everything ie all apps etc ?
You will lose nothing but first of all make a backup of your ipod or iphone.
