Q: Aperture 3.3.2 Won't Stop Photo Streaming!!

I am running Aperture 3.3.2.  I have Photo Stream disabled in Aperture Preferences (I even disabled it in iPhoto), and have disabled it in the left hand menu.  Yet, when I import photos to a project - specifically .JPG photos from a CF card, they are automatically pulled into Photo Stream and populated across any associated iOS device.  This doesn't happen with imported RAW images.

Additionally, I use multiple Libraries and switch several times a day between the libraries.  When I do this, the 'Photo Stream' option reappears in the left hand menu space.

I don't want to use an automated Photo Stream - especially on unedited image imports.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a setting somewhere that I've missed.  Thoughts?

Have you tried deleting your prefrence file as described in the Troubleshooting Basics?

No. I will check this out... though I am disappointed that it may be required!

I will update this post if this works!

    Thanks!

So, the deleting the preferences file seems to have done the trick.

    Thanks, shutterp33d for the suggestion.

FWIW.... this is a pain. Recently updated to Aperture 3.4.1. Photostream is automatically enabled and the update overwrote my preferences to have Photostream off.  Professionally (or even personally for that matter), I have no use for Photostream to push my unedited, RAW uploads to Aperture out to all my iOS devices.

Are there any other Pros out there that are finding this a PIA or have you all moved over to Lightroom already?

I've submitted an Enhancement Report requesting that updates honor the preferences or to provide the option to turn things off before assuming I want Aperture to always stream unedited photos or even link to a Facebook account.
