Sep 19, 2012 11:16 AM in response to mikerat186by Brettstat2d,Sorry my friend you did NOT solve the issue. Why is the link dead to the app store? I added my Walgreens card to Passbook just fine. The issue is when I select "App Store" from the Passbook home screen, I am greeted with "Cant connect to iTunes store" that is the issue at hand, not adding passes.

Sep 19, 2012 11:16 AM in response to arizonadonnby JATS,Yep, same issue here. If this update is dependent solely on outside apps to be functional, that'll be disappointing. I don't know why, I thought we'd be able to scan the codes into the app for our member cards, etc.

Sep 19, 2012 11:28 AM in response to arizonadonnby Templeton Peck,Apps must be updated to support Passbook. Once they are you'll be able to import items to it.

Sep 19, 2012 11:29 AM in response to arizonadonnby Jlangstons,Mine is doing the same, my husband & I both were like WTH, anyone hear anything like if we have to change a setting of some sort? Only thing we see possible is App Store then can't connect, although I actually can connect just fine which is why I'm confused. It isn't in the list of my apps I have yet you can't search for it in the App Store either?

Sep 19, 2012 11:36 AM in response to mikerat186by Jlangstons,Hey how do you add the Fandango..or Walgreens either one....to it? :/

Sep 19, 2012 11:36 AM in response to arizonadonnby ruffninja82,Be patient kids. The Passbook "App Store" will function much like magazine and newstand subscriptions. They populate in the main store, but there is a special store page when you open through the app. Apple has not gone live with this yet.

Sep 19, 2012 11:43 AM in response to arizonadonnby witchever,I was hoping this would be like Key Ring which is what I use right now for all of my reward cards. Where they make it easy to use. You just scan your card and info and your done.

As I said...Apps must be udpated to support Passbook.

Sep 19, 2012 11:47 AM in response to arizonadonnby bborque,Having the same issue. Just downloaded and installed Fandango and Walgreens apps and see no difference. Go into Passbook and nothing is there and the only option is 'App Store' which takes you to an error message indicating it 'Cannot connect to iTunes Store'. Why go live with a new feature that does not work. Will continue to wait to see if it starts working.

Sep 19, 2012 11:48 AM in response to mikerat186by rykert1965,Given that Apple shows Starbucks, Target and numerous other companies rewards programs that are supposed to work with Passbook, it doesn't make much sense why these don't work today. Why roll this out if it only work for Wallgreens and Fandango?

Sep 19, 2012 11:50 AM in response to rykert1965by witchever,I still cant figure out how to even add those.

Sep 19, 2012 11:51 AM in response to rykert1965by ruffninja82,It's not an Apple issue. The App developers have to push their updates out to the servers. Have patience. It will all work in a couple of days
