Q: passbook doesn't work

I haven't had any problems with Passbook.  So far I've added Walgreens, Target, and Fandango.  Don't know what you're doing wrong, but it's working for me.

It worked on my wife's 4S but not on my 4. what gives???

Changing the time on my iPhone worked. Passbook is now working.

what are you doing, or what did you do in order to add those to your passbook?

the time?? like timezone?

Mike is right. I had the same notification, and I added the Walgreens apps with the balance reward card, now passbook is working, but only for the Walgreens card. Starbucks and others need to get their act together.

Yeah, that's pretty much how they made it look when it was revealed. Well, certainly a vastly expanded version of Keyring, but at least having that much functionality. I'm rather disappointed that it's turning out to be just another app on my phone that I'll never use.

I have just now a chat with apple support and they are saying that all apps in iOS6 will be fully functional from 21st Sep, i.e. the date when Iphone5 is in store.....

Let us wait and watch!!

I already had Fandango installed, but it's not showing in Passbook. In fact, the only thing I can do when I open Passbook is tap the App Store link, which lets me open Fandango or download other (presumably) compatible apps. Why would I go through extra steps to open Fandango? I am disappoint.

Did this get resolved for anybody? i still get the same error - "cannot connect to itunes store"

Apple said that all apps including passbook will automatically work perfectly from 21 st Sep. This is something to do with their server side update which they have not yet completed, I believe....For me passbook can't even connect to itunes after I upgraded to iOS6....so we have to wait...but apple should not do this kind of service.....they should complete and then deliver.....this is what I believe.....

Same issue here, but once I changed the date to a year from now (2013) I can now access Passbook. Fail on Apple's part for 1)not making this a "Key Chain" -like app. Don't want to have the app on my iPhone just to be able to use the Passbook version (I can see this being a big storage space hog if users aren't careful), & 2) The users, as diligent as we are, shouldn't be forced to rely on a work around for an issue that should even exist. (way to similar to Microsoft for my taste).

Steve wouldn't have let this one out into the wild in the state that it is in. Mr. Cook needs to take that page from the Steve Jobs play book if you ask me.
