Sep 19, 2012 3:47 PM in response to mikerat186by BellaMinaGill,I am having the same problem with my passbook saying, "Cannot connect to itunes store" ... someone stated that they have already answered this question, however their answer was incorrect, they have not answered this question.
They simply stated, "its not an apple problem, its a developer problem, because they have not developed apps to support the Passbook app." That is incorrect, for those who are wondering.
I know this because my boyfriend and I purchased iphones at the exact same time, have the exact same phone, and mine does not connect to the itunes store through Passbook, and his does.
When he clicks on Passbook, it gives him the option to go to the itunes store, just as mine does, however when he clicks on the button, his connects to the itunes store and gives him different apps, that are supported via passbook, for him to setup with Passbook --- mine does not.
When I click on the button it says, "Cannot connect to the itunes store" .... everything else works fine for me, Itunes store through my phone and all ... just Passbook does not work.
So .... the simple statement of, "Ive already answered this question - no apps are supported yet." Does not work. There are apps that are supported via Passbook, and there are iphones that work with Passbook, however some phones are working and some phones are not. Considering our phones were purchased at the exact same time, we have 1 digit off for phone numbers and are currently located in the same area and are using the same computer to connect to itunes, there are certainly some bugs that are needing to still be worked out.
I hope this helps answer some of the questions, though if fixes none.

Sep 19, 2012 3:52 PM in response to arizonadonnby pigeonor,Hey all, I just did the following and for some reason, it now works:
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try to update the apps again.

Sep 19, 2012 4:11 PM in response to pigeonorby BellaMinaGill,Hey It worked!!! (I dont even wanna know how you figured that out - but good job!)
When I reset the year it brought up a bunch of stuff about my phone could not be verified - so I have a feeling that when I updated to iOS6 today, it threw something off - and by manually setting the date/time it must have reconnected it - who knows.
I strongly suggest to everyone to do as "pigeonor" has instructed ---- IT WORKS!!
Thanks again!!
Signed ~
One Happy Iphoner!

Sep 19, 2012 4:24 PM in response to pigeonorby Mikaeldo88,It did not work for me. My case is a bit strange, when I tap the App Store button in Passbook it bring me to a blank App Store. I did not receive any error message like "Cannot connect to itunes store" just Loading then blank. Btw I'm in Singapore, not sure that matter or not.

Sep 19, 2012 4:51 PM in response to arizonadonnby coreyfromirvine,I am entering them manually. Go to: http://www.passsource.com/selectPublicTemplate.php
- Select the proper card, fill in the data, membership numbers, log in data, etc.
- When you get to the bottom of the form, click CREATE
- You are then taken to a screen that states PASS READY...
- Click on "download the pass file" and wait a second.
- When the pass shows up, click "add to passbook"
It works for me. I'll play with them again when it all goes live. The CVS works now tho...
Oh yes, when it appears on your phone, just click "create" again to start another card.

Sep 19, 2012 4:53 PM in response to michaelfromflorissantby rykert1965,But how did you add Target, Walgreens and Fandango to Passbook? For example, when I go into PB and click App Store, then choose Open for Fandango, it brings me to the movie page. I'm already signed in but do not see an option to add this to passbook. I checked the account settings under Fandango thinking there might be a choice there to add it but nothing. So how do we add?

Sep 19, 2012 5:08 PM in response to coreyfromirvineby coreyfromirvine,If you have a few, you can touch the top of the stack to themb through them like photos.
When you have created a few, create one so you can delete it. The graphic is cool. To delete, touch the "i" at the bottom of the card. The shredder is fun to watch...

Sep 19, 2012 5:46 PM in response to arizonadonnby Ryan Willden,Get this... Called Apple because I have an Apple Gift Card and wanted to add it into Passbook so I don't have to carry it in my wallet. When I told the Apple Support tech my problem he explained that Passbook isn't designed for gift cards. He said it is only for loyalty cards, coupons, tickets etc... Funny since it says this on their website:
No more hunting through your wallet for gift cards, coupons, passes, or tickets. Passbook keeps everything organized — and handy.
Uhhh.... Houston, we have a problem.

Sep 19, 2012 6:05 PM in response to arizonadonnby josephfromdelaware,Nothing was mentioned on September 12 that is was an app driven tool. It was stated that you would be able to store your lowalty cards all in one place. Well we could already do that with the keyring app. I was just looking forward to having a=one that would be dedicated to apple. A symple add loyalty card option would fix everything.
