Q: can i extend my wifi and add a printer

I have a Time Capsule as our main Network with a Printer connected to that one, downstairs. It works fine. I just plugged my Airport extreme v1 in upstairs, and it immediately set to extend the network. Perfect. I plugged the other printer into the Airport Extreme and it does not show up? Can this be done? I looked on the time capsule and it does not show the printer on the setting like they used to, but it works.

Any ideas?

With both base stations configured for an extended network, you should be able to connect a USB printer to either (or both) and be able to share them. Please double-check your base stations' configuration vs. the following Apple Support article just to be sure nothing was missed.
