The YouTube app is no longer included with iOS 6. You can download Google's own YouTube app for free from the iTunes Store.

There is no iPad version.

Turns out the nice folks at Apple decided that we have been embedding YT videos all wrong for all those years:

Please test your claims before posting, then you don't look silly.
First off, your link is to a webpage that is not part of You Tube, so the app won't open the page, you need a browser. However, no one can play the video, not even at the YT website on a Mac or PC, the owner has blocked the content.
As soon as I saw the cnet link I knew he had no clue.
Dah.Veed: I can play the video just fine from my part of the world.
The point is that Apple has cut off many people who watch embedded videos from for example IP.Board bulletin boards and many others for no obvious reason.
I guess critisism is not appreciated on the Apple "discussion" boards, will certainly not be upgrading my iP4.

As far as regional restrictions, as you can see from the screenshot, it isn't stating that, it says it's blocked for copyright infringement.
