Sep 19, 2012 4:41 PM in response to JVB2012by S1mge3,The "ask to join networks" method worked for me too. Interestingly, I then turned that setting back to "Off" but it has held the network. Odd.

Sep 19, 2012 4:41 PM in response to MicahBurkeby Nunya,I tried this and it seemed to get it back to working.
I tried connecting to the network and got the same apple - page not found error, then I went into wifi settings and told it to forget the network. I tried connecting again and entered the password, then I got the same apple - page not found error. Clicked close, waited a sec and then tapped on the wifi network again and it's connecting fine now.
I've even used my smart cover to let it shut it off, opened it up, LTE showing, then it switched to wifi, no connection screen popped up and when I went to safari i was able to refresh a page and go to another page without getting the apple - page not found error.

Sep 19, 2012 4:41 PM in response to MicahBurkeby Darin1138,I just talked to them, no FIX, they said its a major problem a LOT of people are having and just keep a eye on APPLE.COM for any fixes that come up. The strange thing is, as i was talking to him it just started working again, for now. Be he did say, let people know we know about the issue, we do not have a fix for it now and we will let everyone know as we find a fix

Sep 19, 2012 4:42 PM in response to MicahBurkeby HCGIC Dan,After clearing cache, you may need to shut down safari.
Double press the home button to get the running applications. Press and hold for a few seconds, and when the minus symbol comes up, press it. This will shutdown the running safari app.
Reconnect to wifi, and it should work.
Need to clear cache first.

Sep 19, 2012 4:42 PM in response to MicahBurkeby Kay from Maryland,I was having the same problem with the "page not found" message. After trying everything and nothing working I just kept attempting to connect. It was annoying but after about a half hour my wireless is now working. Hopefully all yours will, too. Keep trying.

Sep 19, 2012 4:43 PM in response to MicahBurkeby wardja,Same problem on iPhone 4GS using any of 2 Apple Access Points in a Netgear R6300 Dual WiFi network Either frequency. Any access point. Connects to WiFi, goes to Sign In window, opens www.apple.com [page not found], and disconnects WiFi immediately.
Wife's iPad 1 still works great. Oddly, my iPad 3 works fine with iOS6 - from the start.
I was alreaady set with WMM. And hard reboots did not work.
So I tried the Safari cache cleansing (clear all cookies and history data at Settings/Safari) followed by hard reboot and THAT WORKS! So far.

Sep 19, 2012 4:43 PM in response to NaLaughby lclcv,Okay. I skipped all the setup and got through to the main screen - no wifi. I decided to turn my iPad3 off and then couldn't seem to get it back on.
So I plugged it back into iTunes. While I was reading here if there was a fix, mine connected to my wifi. I hadn't touched a thing.
I unplugged and so far so good. It's been 20 minutes now and still okay. All working fine.
Scary stuff.
