Sep 19, 2012 4:46 PM in response to MicahBurkeby 1Addee,Do the following in that order and it MAY work for you (it's how i did mine and got it running) erase the network first, close all browsers and other apps, then clear safari's (and any other browsers u have installed) history, cookies and data. then complete a proper shut down (hold power, slide to shut off...blah, blah, blah.) once your rebooted log into your access point and then open safari before any other apps.
If it works for you do a systematic start of apps you were running (i'm doing this right now) to see if any of them recreate the issue.

Sep 19, 2012 4:47 PM in response to MicahBurkeby AmericanGamer,I was having the same problem...this worked for me:
1) Turn off the device and turn it back on.
2) Go to Settings -> WiFi.
3) Tap the arrow next to the router you want to connect to.
4) Go to the bottom of that WiFi configuration page and select "Renew Lease"
After this I could connect to my router. Hope this helps!

Sep 19, 2012 4:47 PM in response to MicahBurkeby gerr2305,What worked for me...
- Go to Wi-Fi settings on my device (iPhone and iPad)
- Click on the arrow next to my network and choose "Forget this Network"
- Turn off Wi-Fi on my device
- Go into my router settings and find the DCHP client table
- Remove my devices from that table
- Go back to my devices and turn Wi-Fi back on
- Click on my wireless network and re-enter my password
- Everything connected without popping up the apple sign-on page

Sep 19, 2012 4:47 PM in response to joshuah006by wgreaney14,Why would joining WIFI require you to logon to Apple to use? I have a hunch this is a failed attepted at collecting data on users WIFI use. THINK ABOUT IT.

Sep 19, 2012 4:48 PM in response to MicahBurkeby ender78,Problem as listed at another website is that the page http://www.apple.com/library/test/success.html was not available. WiFi functionality on the Global Internet for IOS devices seem to depend on one page !!!!

Sep 19, 2012 4:48 PM in response to MicahBurkeby Jimmy Jules,I've found that if you connect to the internet via bluetooth it works, doesn't help the original problem though..

Sep 19, 2012 4:48 PM in response to MicahBurkeby bigallan,After 45 minutes of stressing, my iPad and iPhone both magically started working two minutes after my ranting post. I even removed the sim card in the iPad and turned off the 3G in the 4S to confirm I wasn't going crazy. Very strange, but I'm glad I wont be wasting data while sitting 5 yards from my wireless router!

Sep 19, 2012 4:49 PM in response to MicahBurkeby hoonlz,I had the exact same issue; I was directed to the login page showing "Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found." Then, I clicked on one of the links on that page (instead of clicking "Cancel" on the top-right corner) and the Wifi connection seemed to be working there. Then, I pushed the home button to get out and then, when I openned Safari, my Wifi connection was working fine. I don't seem to have any issue since then. I hope this solves this issue.

Sep 19, 2012 4:49 PM in response to S. P. Cooperby S. P. Cooper,Update to previous post:
My problem now appears to be two separate issues, one of which has been resolved.
1. Initially, my iPhone4 was kicking me to a missing login screen when I attempted to log into Wi-Fi. That has since been resolved. Consequently, my iPhone4 is working on Wi-Fi again. There was nothing I had to do to fix this issue--it was entirely resolved on Apple's end (presumably by fixing their website).
2. However, my iPad3, which never gave me a login screen (instead, it told me that it was unable to join the network, and wouldn't let me log on at all), is still not working, and has not worked on my home network ever since upgrading (though it did work at my university, which has one of those pop-up login webpages).
As a result, my iPad is still not able to access Wi-Fi. Hopefully this issue will be addressed soon. Please post any information which you have received from Apple as to:
1) Any potential fixes or workarounds, and
2) Any estimate of when we can expect a software fix.
Thank you!
