Sep 19, 2012 4:49 PM in response to MicahBurkeby mccsab,I have a fix; iPhone 4S
All I did was a Hard Boot; Hold the top lock button with the (round) Home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until your iPhone completely re-boots .
To turn your iPhone back on, touch and hold down the top lock buttton, enter your passcode and it should work... so far so good.

I read this solution from Demo:
Try this.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
This worked! Thank you!

Sep 19, 2012 4:51 PM in response to MicahBurkeby dasack1,I can't believe this is the answer, but plug your device into its charger. I updated my phone and the battery % was so high that I didn't bother to plug it in. But my iPad was plugged in during its update, and everything was fine with its WIFI. So when I plugged my iPhone in after the update, then it's WIFI started working again.

Sep 19, 2012 4:52 PM in response to MicahBurkeby leafbag,You need to go into your DHCP server and remove the reservation for the ipad. When you attempt to connect again it will create a new reservation that will work just fine.
The old reservation conflicts with the new one for some reason.

Sep 19, 2012 4:52 PM in response to MicahBurkeby Durwin,I had the same wifi issue. I have an ipad2 and i did a fresh install of iOS6 and i couldnt connect to my airport express (the new one). I turn off the wifi then turned the ipad off. I turned the ipad back on, turned on wifi and its working. So far no issues, the "log in" page hasn't popped up either.
Im updating my wife's ipad2 and we'll see if the same thing happens to her's.
Hope this helps.

I had the exact same symptoms after upgrading to iOS6. Go to properties of the wireless network and turn auto join "On". This will fix it.
