Sep 19, 2012 4:37 PM in response to iamjeremieby MikeFensom,I had the same problem on my iPad but this seems to have sorted it. Cheers!
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Sep 19, 2012 4:37 PM in response to MicahBurkeby chambersbtap,For anyone struggling with the collusal failure of iOS6. Do this > Settings > Safari > Clear cookies and Data. Then go to Wifi - Forget the network. Then turn off the iPad, turn it back on. Reconnect the wifi. You should get a 'success' message. Dear Apple, you really screwed this one up.

Sep 19, 2012 4:42 PM in response to MicahBurkeby M@xi,I am also experiencing the Internet connection issues with both my iPhone 4s and iPad 3 (Wifi). When connecting to my home network, a login popover appears with the title "Hmm, the page you’re looking for can’t be found.". This did not happen and the Internet connection worked fine (and did not require an additional login) with both devices before iOS 6. Strangely browsing the http://apple.com website works fine in the popup, hence Internet connectivity is established, but when closing the popup by aborting the process, I'm disconnected from my home network and I'm back at square one. Thus I can only conclude that the issue may be with the OS itself or with Apple's online presence not responding to the login request sent by the popover.
To recreate the error: The error occurs whenever I am trying to connect with the router's wireless network (IEEE 802.11n). Shortly after tapping on the network name in the preferences panel, the login popup appears and does not allow any input.
EDIT 1:
chambersbtapfound the way! Emptying the safari cookies & data did the trick (didn't need to reboot). Thanks.
EDIT 2:
Turns out apple has solved their issue, because I didn't need to empty the cache on my iPad and the error simply "dissapaered". So it looks as if it was a server issue, not iOS 6.
