Sep 19, 2012 4:37 PM in response to MicahBurkeby JVB2012,Found the fix. Settings/Wi-Fi/ "Ask to Join Networks": ON Wi-Fi stays on without the Log-In screen that boots you to http://www.apple.com.
Enjoy! Still weird. I did not do anything to my iPhone 4S other than upgrade to IOS 6

Sep 19, 2012 4:38 PM in response to NaLaughby bigallan,This is crazy. My iPhone 4S and iPad 3 were working fine yesterday on 5.1.1. I did an iTunes upgrade to iOS 6 on both of them, no wi-fi is not working, except conveniently Apples's "log-in" site. I've tried resetting my wi-fi and also resetting the network on the phone and iPad, but no luck.
My friend's iPhone 4S wi-fi was working fine on iOS 6 beta yesterday too, and without any changes isn't working today, so something has happened since the official release went live.
This is pretty crappy and unacceptable to render thousands of dollars of equipment practically unusable! Apple needs to fix this, and fix it quickly.
I'm going to try to reinstall iOS 6 on the iPad to see if anything happens. If not, back to iOS 5!

Sep 19, 2012 4:38 PM in response to MicahBurkeby Justin3425,Hey guys. I was experiencing the same proble as everyone else. I have an iphone 4 and it would not connect to my wireless. At the bottom of wifi in settings there is a on/off switch to ask to join networks. I turned it on and now I can connect to my wifi. Hopefully this helps out !!!

Sep 19, 2012 4:38 PM in response to iamjeremieby miq01,This solution worked for me both on iPhone 4 and New iPad.
What I also did was, after restarting, I went to Settings->Wi-Fi, tapped on the arrow to the right of my network and selected auto-connect (or whatever it's called).

I turned iTunes match off and it worked.
On my iPhone, I didn't have iTunes match on, so I turned it on and off again. After this it worked.

Sep 19, 2012 4:39 PM in response to MicahBurkeby WesternHorizon,For me on my iPhone 4, it started working when I went to Settings->Wi-Fi->Other... and put it my wireless network credentials manually. Not sure if that's what fixed it since it sounds like it's magically working for people now, but that's when it started working for me.
