Add VIP Contact in iOS 6

go to main screen of email that shows all accounts. Click vip and choose from your address book

after you add your 1st vip then under that vip should be the option to add another vip.

Adding someone's email as a "Favorite" does this. So does clicking on the email address within the email and then clicking "add to VIP"

Yep, it's really poorly designed and going to confuse a lt of people. I figured it out, but what I can't figure out is where the **** do you go to see the list of the VIP. I cant find one. It also appears to be impossible to add one from Contacts, at least as far as I cn tell.

In Mail, for the VIP list, there is an > at the right side. You have to click that arrow in order to add/edit your vip list. If you simply select VIP, you will be directed to the VIP inbox.

Thanks Alan, I had tried everything but that! I had held my finger down on VIP, I had looked under settings etc. But didn't realize that arrow was any different than pressing to the left of it.

Here you go if you want to edit add/delete contacts on your VIP mailbox.

Under accounts>VIP account and hold the blue circle with arrow for 2 seconds and let go.

This is correct solution. Some times I was getting vip list, when pressed circle for 2 seconds with our my knowledge

Thank you for the detail of holding down the blue arrow circle for 2 seconds...this is the one thing I needed to know. The other problem I have is that for whatever reason, I cannot seem to add more than one or two contacts at a time, and I cannot pick which email address I want in VIP if the contact has more than one listed. This app needs to be refined and made easier to use.
