Youtube is a google product and apple removed it. You can get the crappy google-made app in the app store.

The YouTube app my have been removed from the home screen or what menu you had it in when you upgrade to iOS6 but your favorites are now in a YouTube folder in safari's bookmark folder
Install 'YouPad'. It IS $0.99 (or £1.49) but it does the job
Losing the built-in app wasnt a big deal, I promptly downloaded the alternative. The problem is, now I can't AirPlay youtube videos to my AppleTv. Was that intended?
