passbook cannot connect to app store
Passbook opens and must go to App Store but returns "cannot open App Store" error. What next?

You wait a day for everyone else to stop trying to use it, then you go back when the servers aren't being smashed.
It's just first-day overload. It will be all better in the next couple of days.
Just adjust the date manually and set a year in advance, and try again. It worked for me. Then just switch the date and time back to 'Set Automatically'
oneutd247, could you explain this a little bit more? Break it into easy to follow steps?
I tried this and it resulted in various warning messages related to Facebook, iCloud, etc. Don't want to fix this if everything will get screwed up in the process...
Helppppp I have the same problem!!
Go to Settings>General>Date & Time and switch Set Automatically to OFF. Adjust 1 year ahead. Access Passbook again and tap on App Store. Should get you in. Go back to your date & time settings and set back to automatic. Don't worry about the errors, they will be corrected once the date and time is back to automatic.
Gabriela114,
Go to Settings, date and time. Untoggle the automatic day and time. Change the date to two months into the future. Go back to Passbook. Open it. It should connect fine. Then, go back to date and time, fix the month, and retoggle the automatic day and time. This should work.
This will explain the work around, not sure why but it worked for me
Adjusting the date and time worked for me also.
Changing the year has worked for me !
I did the date thing and got to the app store but no refeence to Passbook. what is supposed to happen next?
Try adding two years to the current date. Then go back and click App Store on passbook. This worked for me when the 1 year didn't.
