Oct 6, 2012 3:07 PM in response to rbrylawskiby duckdive,Scaring peolpe that they "may" brick their phone would be the equivalant of reminding someone each time they were to get in their car that they should think carefully, because if they crash and die, there is no coming back.
As for support, in 13 years of using apple products, ive never needed any. And you know as well as anyone that if you were having troubles, you can simply revert your phone back to its original state with one simple push of a button. Stop trying to scare people more than your 8,485 points are already scaring us.

Oct 6, 2012 3:14 PM in response to IdrisSeabrightby Ex-Apple Fan,When you poison your factual answer with a word like "rhetorical" then I know that you didn't understand the question as you didn't understand the problem.

Oct 6, 2012 3:17 PM in response to Matthew Morganby duckdive,The data is what the whole thread is about. No need to start talking semantics here. When anyone sais the "apple app is unusable", it is not the app that is the problem and you know it. The data is what makes the app a piece of %$!p. The apple app with its current data supply is the equivalant of a Lexus LX570 with water in the gas tank.

How silly of me to get technical in a technical discussion forum!
I think the distinctions are important for understanding what's going on here.
But, that's just me.

Oct 6, 2012 3:21 PM in response to duckdiveby rbrylawski,Scaring? No. Just being realistic. If you actually stick around this forum and come up with more than 0 points you'll see many posts from desparate people who did the deed to their phone, only to brick it and have no support from Apple (it does completely void your warranty, or didn't you realize that?) or from this community as discussing this subject is against the terms we all agreed to when we joined the forum.
Look......Let's just agree to disagree. I won't respond to any more of your tiresome posts and you don't have to respond to me.

Oct 6, 2012 3:30 PM in response to Shilts9by Nogueira,I have a simple question and would like to have an answer without passions: Why Apple didn't tell the truth about the maps?
If they would have told that Maps won't work properly, this forum wouldn't exist. Everybody would be happy. Who needs Google Maps would stay with IOS 5.
So, I repeat my question and would like to have an answer: Why Apple didn't tell the truth about the maps?
By the way: If the iPhone users would not be screaming all over the internet, maybe even Google would not have launched Street View in Safari.

Oct 6, 2012 3:34 PM in response to rbrylawskiby duckdive,The sideshow begins again to distract from the reality. Apple maps is not fit for release and the apologists creating diversions.
The only cause ive ever had to come to this forum is to look for a technical solution to a problem i have now with the iphone. It has been discovered, to my disgust that there is not going to be a fix. And further and probbaly more disgusting is discovering some weird cult of apologists here. The points given here is the equivelant of giving a guy a uniform and whistle and watching him think he is an authority. Rbrylawski, here on these forums, you are the man.

I'm sorry that you don't understand the meaning of the word "rhetorical" and, for some reason, instead of looking it up, decided it must be insulting. It's not.

Yeah, for some reason, he is of the opinion that people who disagree with him in any are not permitted to participate. I do believe, though, that his opinions are quite genuine and that he isn't doing this to be obnoxious.

Oct 6, 2012 4:09 PM in response to Shilts9by ed2020,Wow. The level of immaturity displayed by certain contributors to this thread is astounding.
For clarity: responded to the OP but my observation is in no way directed at them.

Oct 6, 2012 4:09 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by Ex-Apple Fan,Who are you level 6 and 16,000 points watchdog? I haven't seen you in this thread before?
Have you been called to support Apple sect here?
Do you have a way that you can tell us about on how to downgrade to iOS 5?
Describing how a useless application function and asking for the only logical solution to get back iOS 5 is trolling for you?

Oct 6, 2012 4:11 PM in response to IdrisSeabrightby Ex-Apple Fan,Obnoxious is exactly how I described your behaviour before in this very same thread.
I am a free man not a slave like you who all that you do is to defend you master which ****** up big times. He apologised and all that you do is finding him excuses.
