So why don't you help all the hackers in finding an exploit for the A5 chip to allow downgrading those devices too?

 

That really would be a help to a lot of people, and no doubt if you diverted all your effort posting here to that task you'd solve it in no time.

Because as stated earlier, I'm no coder or developer, that's why.  I'm just a lonely little ******** idiot that came here hoping to find others in the same boat as I, which I did.  Problem, I also found people who have been here a little longer and seem to think the rest of us are truly ********, I must be.  But I know if enough pressure is put on Apple, they'll do the right thing.

Thank you for the fantastic advice.  People like you are the reason why forums like this are very helpful.

That's pretty cool but I don't use Facebook.  It was another on my list of complaints before the final of iOS 6 was released, them sticking FB all into the OS.  But I'll keep my eye on it... can't hurt to have it and maybe it'll draw some attention.

What the Levels and fanboys here don't seem to see or understand is what most people here complaining want.  They either want Google Maps back into the OS, YouTube back into the OS or a complete revert back to iOS 5.

It goes deeper than that, there are more problems that just those 2 listed, battery life is another, email issues is also a concern.  The list goes on... read around enough and you'll find all kinds of issues, a huge pile of them.  So in my opinion and some others... resigning 5.1.1 is the ONLY answer to the problem until all the issues are accounted for and fixed.  And despite what some of the more intelligent people here believe, it's as easy and as simple as flipping a switch, won't take 15 minutes to get iTunes to let me take my iPhone 4S that's currently on iOS 6 and downgrade it back to iOS 5 (5.1.1).  Apple just doesn't want to... that's all that's keeping many of us from being happy again.

But hey, it was only about 700 bucks for the phone, throw it away... only got a few hundred tied up in my iPod Touch, toss it out too... and my iPhone 4... 2 years of paying for a contract on that plus the 200 bucks I laid out for it... toss it.  It's just money, it doesn't matter to anyone but Apple and they've got plenty so to hades with my money.

WOW...... now that's pretty common.  Just WOW....  Man, Apple is really something aren't they?  You either enter into this whole hearted and with blinders on or you're just not in the circle at all huh?  Man, Apple just turkey-tapped us yet again... wow...

You may wish to read the terms of use for the forum. Look for the section on polls and polling and links to polls and polling.

Cool people with some of the same problems on Facebook.

Do a search for : bring back ios 6

TOU section 2, rules 4 and 6... probably.  Cause it might just attract some attention and actually help somebody in the long run of bringing the heat on.
