Must admit I'm not that bothered which domain I use but having migrated to iCloud recently I'd rather go with the current one.  Looks like it's a case of sit around and wait until they tell you.  Gmail's not so bad after all.  At least when things are announced there it works.  As of now I can't even create aliases!!!  Big on hype and adverts, small on delivery.
