my macbook pro cursor keeps moving by itself

out of the blue my cursor starting moving all over the place...opening and closing files.... by itself !

now my itunes wont play and there is no volume to the computer.........

i was able to login in under safe mode...but it doesnt stay problem free long enough to be productive on the computer

help please.... my warranty...and service plan has expired
