Thanks so much, @KevinKendall.
I am having problems with Contactizer and you are the only one on the web mentioning the ODMailBundle issue. In the meantime, Contactizer is not syncing and I am about ready to throw it out the window. Can you please be specific on how you solved the bundle problem? Thanks!
Try this I found :
Dont know if it will solve your's
AND do not omit to make a complint here, otherwise they think thsy sold the best software on the planet :
Thanks Chris, I'll try it out and post here if the problem is solved. Not to worry, I WILL complain! By the way... what would you suggest as a replacement for Contactizer? I have the PRO running since 2008.
I actually tried this (added strings left and right!) and I guess it worked because email works from Contactizer to Mail and it synchs, too. But I am tempted to switch to Bento and MailChimp....Thanks for the help!
Nothing really similar. SOHOnotes could be nice but it doesn't sync with address book and Calendar, so, no sync at all with phone devices. From Marketcircle, I own Bilings, nicely done to clock your time, They have a contactizer similar solution but at a different price :
for $280, you have an entire solution for laptop, iphone and ipad, mail assistant and server. [it's a little bit pricey but it works] for ONE user.Every time you add a new user that access and can change the calendar, etc, you add some. There is a free testdrive. try it I think it's the better alternative to Contactizer [ha, the arrogant frenchies - I'm french, and the dev team of contactizer are too!]
Have a look to this thread here :

@KevinKendall's solution worked to restore GrowlMail for me. I'm running 10.6.8 and Mail 4.6. So glad. I can barely work without GrowlMail. I'm always missing important emails.
It was easy - fixed in less than a minute with 3 (or 4?) clicks. I got a message indicating that two of the bundles couldn't be moved, but that may be because only one was applicable.
His solution was to download this plugin-fix.
From the Code2K:Labs site: http://code2k.net/products/mailpluginfix/
From MacUpdate: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/37804/mailpluginfix
Because I was impatient, I tested its success by sending an email to the Technical University Berlin, which has an echo processor to echo messages back where they originated. I emailed
Thanks so much, @KevinKendall.
Thanks, Carmen. And I'm thanking the Code2K Labs guys..... Otherwise, I'd be doing all that code stuff that's also in this thread. No thanks...... been there, done someathat.
I'm glad that Code2K's Mail plugin fix worked for you. I was sure happy with my plugins working again, after I'd gotten my system-mangling (well.... just Apple Mail mangling, really.) Security Update 2012-004 installed after which double-clicking on my Mail.app gave me an ominous error message.
Just for the halibut, these are the plugins I like & use in my own Mail, Carmen. Check em out!:
- Mail Tabs for Mail (FANTASTIC Mail plugin. Would not have a Mac without it!)
- Wide Mail (formats the Message Viewer window)
- Mail Appetizer (shows translucent popups of emails as they come in... click to view them in Mail, delete them, etc from that window. Fades away in seconds. Great for dumping the trash stuff right away as it comes in.)
And one other superhandy Mail-related (and Address Book-related) utiltiy that I will not do without just so long as I have a Mac: TapDex. Extremely fast on-the-fly popup access to people/bizzes/etc in your Address Book.
Happy Mac'in Carmen!
thanks for the mailpluginfix app -- I edited the plist with the above strings but that didn't seem to work but the pluginfix app did! I absolutely rely on the attachment scanner plugin and it broke after the last update (some time ago). This conversation was very helpful! Thanks everyone.
