I just downloaded IOS 6 and when I try to connect to the internet it takes me to the apple website and says "page not found". And at this point I haven't been able to connect my Ipad 2 to the internet (using a wifi). Does anyone know what to do?

I had the issue of no connect after upgrade to iOS 6 on an iPad2. Just now turned off wifi then did a soft reset. When it came back i turned wifi back on and logged into my network and the connection stuck this time. I'm hesitant to do my 4s though.
I was super frustrated because my iPad 2, that's worked flawlessly for 10 months, did the same thing when I updated it. I got that funky Apple.com signon screen that reminded me of connecting to a wifi hotspot. Under General>Reset>Reset Network Connections, which restarted my iPad, then I cleared the data and cache, and history from Safari, turned off my iPad and turned it back on and it connected to my wifi.
Crisis averted.

I cleared all the settings in my IPAD 3 and then in safari setting, rebooted my IPAD and now is perfectly working.
Worked for me:
Settings -> Wi-Fi -> ...your network... (Blue >) -> Forget this Network
Reboot (hold down power button for 6 seconds, slide to power off, hold down power button for 3 seconds)
Settings -> Wi-Fi -> select your network, enter password
Yes, now it is working misteriously... Apple now is trying to be like nature, eh?
iPad 2 user and 4S user. Had the same issues, but put it on Airplane mode and it's working again.
On my 4S I turned off the cellular data option.
Had this problem too, but fixed it.
Just simply turn off wifi and turn it back on. Hope that works!
And now it works. Fixed remotely, i guess, because I didn't do anything. That was fast!
