After updating to ios 6 every time I try to access my wifi network my Iphone 4s goes to 3G and goes to an apple log-in screen that says "the page cannot be found". I have tried forgeting the network and re-entering the password and rebooting the phone but both didn't work. Any Ideas would be appriceated.

having the same issue. Works fine on the wifi network in my office, but when I came home and tried my airport base station, I get the login screen and apple's "hmm, the page you are looking for..." deal. Seems to be an airport base station/iOS6 issue.
Well I seem to have "fixed" the problem or at least find a workaround. In order to work you must set a static IP for your wireless router. To do this just follow the instructions on this page:

Just remember to set the IP, DNS, etc of your router.

Same thing was happening to me. I tried the reset network settings as menitoned and then reconnected to wifi.
I was still redirected to apple but it came up wiht a blank page that had Success written on it. All is working now on my 4s.

I fixed it! I decided to not reset my network settings, but did turn off Wi-Fi via settings. then turn it back on. then, turned "ask to join networks" on then it worked. then i turned ask to join off. still working..
Same problem... I'm sure Apple is aware of the issue but this is basic functionality that should have never failed in the first place.
I had done all the regular troubleshooting, but closing all apps in multitasking fixed it for me!
The same problem on iOS 6-upgraded 4th generation iPod touch. Network kind of worked for a while, now does not at all, and any attempt to select my home WiFi network sends me to the Apple page. I also get an error message about a hotpot. Here's hoping for a speedy bug fix update. For now my device is unusable.
Have had the same issue for the last 30 minutes. Installed the developer GM build 3 days ago and only started experiencing this problem today starting at 7:00PM EST. I've been reading that time is when things started acting up for other people as well.
Mine was doing the same, just logged in here on PC to post a comment and when I checked my phone again it worked, I'm not saying one has anything to do with the other, but it's stable now. Maybe being logged in online, allows that page that comes up to see you as logged in. Or it just randomly fixed itself and I don't know what the **** I'm talking about!!!
GOT A FIX.
My Network was hidden. I unhidden it and then the iPhone connects and stay connected.
Apple will need to fix this, but I hope this helps others in the meantime.
Hi guys this just worked for me, hopefully it will for you guys to.
i went to settings, clicked the blue arrow next to my home network, then selected forget network.
I got full connection straight away.
