HELP ME PLEASE!!!!
Ok, so here is the story:
My IPOD *2-year-old click wheel* started just scrolling through the song list without playing anything. So I tried to reset it-that didn't work. Then I tried to restore it-the updater would download, but when I tried to open it, it would only want to install. So in the process, the IPOD said "Do Not Disconnect" but my computer wasn't reading it, so I checked the manual and it said that it was ok to disconnect when that was happening-so I did. When I turned the IPOD on, all the memory had been erased except for the stuff the factory had put on there. So then I tried to reload it with my iTunes, and when that came up it read that there was an iPod but it didn't recognize it as mine, but it said it was synching them to it-but it didn't and now I am really really confused and upset and have no idea what to do now.
I would appreciate just about any kind of help you would give me...please help.
P.S. My iPod is about 2 years old, so the warranty and help stuff has run out
