Getting page not found on iPad for WiFi verification

Same. Could it be that the Samsung Pennies are striking back?

Yes, I got the same problem and now my iPhone 4, new iPad, iPad 2 can only connect to the internet via 3G.

Same probleme here on my iPad2, working fine before updated but now it won't connect to WiFi because of this "page not found" problem. I restored but the problem is still here, and I can't even restore my Cloud settings because I can't connect. Please help us...

I'm having the same problem here. Wi-Fi is shot for the time being.

So much hype surrounding the new iOS 6 and I finally get it and can't explore any of the new features because I have an ipad shaped flashlight that wont let me connect with wifi.

Ok, having this issue too and found a weird fix that failed. Like everyone else the Log In screen is coming up and then wifi goes away when I hit cancel. I rooted around in the Apple pages till I clicked on a video link and it took me to Safari. Wifi started working and worked for about 5 min then the Log In screen popped up again out of no where. Wifi went away again. This is a huge issue Apple.

Exactly the same here, looks like new IOS is a half abked flop! Not going near it with my phone for teh time being!

Yep, getting the exact same page on my iPhone 4S when I try to connect to my home wireless. Frustrating because the lovely AT&T throttled my data.

It's nothing to do with your home wifi or anything else that's under your control. It's a major F*** up by Apple.

When you connect to a wifi access point, your iOS device will try and get a web page from apple to test that it can get to the internet properly. If it can't get this webpage, then it assumes its behind a pay-activated wifi access point (like the ones you have to pay to use in hotels etc) and will try to take you to the signin page. For some reason that signin page it is looking for is messed up and it thinks its somewhere on apple.com that doesn't exist.

So what's happening is that apple have either taken down that magical 'portal' page and iOS devices think that they're not connected to the internet, or the fact everyone is trying to download iOS6 has crashed the website (DDOSed it) and it's not responding, so the iOS device doesn't think it can connect to the internet.

Either way, there is NOTHING you can do until Apple fixes the problem at their end with that 'portal' page.

One more thing to add. It doesn't even work when I try to tether to my phone thru wifi.

Tethering thru Bluetooth does work however
