Sep 19, 2012 5:16 PM in response to LugorIVby AndreaDotti,I had the same problem. For the moment I have found the following solution.
Went to:
Settings->General->Cellular
Turned off both "Cellular Data" and "Enable 3G".
At this point I could sucesufully connect to my wifi.
I then turned on again both "Cellular Data" and "Enable 3G".
For the moment it seems working.

Sep 19, 2012 5:20 PM in response to LugorIVby njdevlz,I had the same issue on my iPhone 4 and new iPad. But checked it 30 min later and although it did not connect the wifi network right away, when I manually did it, it went thru without needing a password (as it should). Both devices now have wifi functioning normally, but I didn't have to reset anything....

Sep 19, 2012 5:57 PM in response to LugorIVby NMMacGuy,Yes, I've had this too. Took me apple.com page that was not found and would not permit wifi access. Also had an issue where couldn't connect to iTunes store.

Sep 19, 2012 7:04 PM in response to LugorIVby benzies,Can't seem to get this resolved with any of the workarounds in here.
I join to an 802.1x wireless. When I switch my phone into sleep mode it disconnects the wireless. When I unlock the phone it does not re-connect to the wireless until I manually select it.
I don't see disabling cellular data as a suitable workaround, and the "ask to join networks" option does nothing.

Sep 19, 2012 9:02 PM in response to LugorIVby JusjongKull,I had the same issue, just upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 6.
I don't know what resolved it, but it works by now, when I manually select the network. If I put it on standby and turn it off again, it does not reconnect to the wifi. I have to do it manually.

Sep 19, 2012 9:52 PM in response to benziesby Positron.artist,Same problem. iphone 4
Here's my fix that worked:
settings>wifi>get info on network (little blue arrow to the right).
select "forget this network"
reboot iphone (or whichever)
settings>wifi>choose network, enter password.
Worked for me, hope that helps people.
