Help used the new guided access feature and now wont let me unlock
iPhone 4S, iOS 6
Same with me. Phone is stuck in guided access mode on Talking Tom app. An advertisement has popped up and now I can not do anything. Help me please.
Same here. My daughter was playing in guided access and a notification interrupted her application. After closing it, triple clicking the home button did nothing. It just shows the "Guided Access Mode Enabled - Triple Click Home Button to Exit." No easy fix, but you can plug it into iTunes and do a "Restore." Make sure you do a backup before so you can just restore the whole thing exactly as it was before it got stuck.
Apple really needs to have an override for this in case it gets stuck; like plug it into iTunes and enter your AppleID. Until then, no more Guided Access for me...
Thanks to Twitter user Jay Graves (@skabber) I found the following solution. Hold the power + home button for 10 seconds to reboot the device. This will allow you to use the device as normal.

That is also my problem I got stuck at settings app reeboot it by holding sleep/wake for 10 seconds
Didnt work for me. When I did the reboot it keeps going back to the same app that it was locked in. No pass code either. My son was playing with it. This is very frustrating. Why cant there ever be an easy solution??? I never even heard of the Guided Access til today! In need of serious help before my son drives me insane!!
