exact same issue on my iPhone 4. forgetting the network, turning wifi on/off, restarting the phone.... no help.
Just upgraded to ios6 and am having the exact same problem on my iPhone 4. It upgraded at work where a wifi password wasn't required. It doesn't work at home where the wifi is password protected. Not upgrading my iPhone 4s to be safe.
Same problem here with my iPhone 4s. Mi iPad is OK.
Mines working now. I reset my MAC address (which can take up to an hour). Ten minutes later it's working. It may be due to this or just coincidence.
I Found The Sollution To This Problem!!!!
When the apple page appears do this:
1 in search type google
2 open any google app's page (i clicked google calender)
3 click Google ( it will direct you to google.com
4 thats it 😀
I'm getting same issue. Here's my question though. Why does our wifi need to go through apple for a connection? This is sounding like some type of proxy issue, in which case apple should have ZERO to do with our connection to our home WIFI's.
Any ideas?
Having same problem, a reboot didn't help, but syncing to itunes seems to have for now. Give that a shot.
hello everyone, i was having the same problem when i came home and connected to my wifi network that worked before. i powered my iphone 4 down, and powered back up. all is good. if that doesnt work, try forgetting the network, power down, power back on, and re enter your wifi password. good luck!
What now? Apple trying to tap into our wifi modems and f*** them up so that they can start selling their Apple airPort already? sounds Applelish
I had the same problem, but I did the following and it seemed to fix it.
Go to Settings App. Choose "General" => Choose "About" => scroll down to "Diagnostics and Usage" and choose that. Change the setting from "Automatically Send" to "Don't Send" and then you should be able to connect to WiFi
Under wifi settings click on the little blue arrow next to your wifi network and at the bottom go to 'Renew Lease' button, that seemed to work for me.
I may have found a possibly way to fix it, go to the wifi network you want to connect to, click on the name where it says autojoin click on and just leave it on that page for a while, I was having issues as well and tried this several times and it wouldnt stay then I left it on the page for about 30 seconds, clicked back and it stayed on the network and has been for about 10 minutes now.
Had the same issue. Rebooted my iPhone 4 and fixed the issue
I had the same thing happen - I got the network to connect, then got the apple "can't find page" page. I went to settings and turned off wifi. Counted to 10 - slowly while my nerves were humming - then turned wifi back on and it connected perfectly.
Having connected to my WiFi network without any problems for a few hours following the iOS 6 update, my iPhone 4 also started failing to connect and showed the Apple 'Log In' webpage that others have described. However, WiFi has started working normally again now; I haven't reset or changed anything on either the router or the iPhone. Is anyone else finding that this is an intermittent problem?
