I have just upgraded to iOS6 on my iPhone 4s. The update went smoothly however I try to connect/join to my WiFi, I get redirected to www.apple.com with the typical Log In screen that you would see when connecting to a Free WiFi spot. The apple page says that "the page can not be found"
Has any one elese experienced this?

Yep. I get the same thing. Weird thing is that after I upgraded wifi was working. I also reset all network settings. Didnt help.

Agreed. It worked great until I disconnected from my WiFi and tried to join it again. Now it won't connect.
The same thing happed to me like Peter Chodyra. Finished the download of iOS 6, say my Wi-Fi was missing and tried to log onto Wi-Fi. Seems to come on for a few seconds and the the phone ports me to an Apple web page http://www.apple.com..."Hmm. the page your looking for can't be found." I am completely amazed that Apple would allow the release of this software update with this major bug.

I think I Found the answer ....
GO TO CHOOSE NETWORK & in HTTP PROXY change from
OFF to AUTO.
Tried seting static IP with the appropriateSubnet/Router etc. It shows as connected but the WiFi icon does not show up on the top bar, however I do not get the redirection to the apple.com anymore. hmm
didn´t work 😟
I did that and changed the HTTP Proxy from off to auto and now I have wifi connection on both my 4S and 3GS!

Same here, I tried to close the browser window, and everytime I did it turned the Wi-Fi off. I went back in reconnected to the wi-fi, and rather than close the window, I just hit the home button, and I'm still connected, seems like a jenky workaround.
Nevermind, it dropped.
