AirPrint just stopped working after months

The AirPrint on my HP photosmart stopped working after several months of operating just fine.

Now I get a "no AirPrint printer found" message from my iPad and touch. Everything is connected to the same network Tried everything I can thing of including resetting the router and network.

Any advice?

Hello,

I had a similar problem. AirPrint used to work flawlessly and then one day it stopped working. We had recently updated our devices to IOS 7.0.4, my iPhone 4, the wife iPAD II and her iPhone 5 so I thought the issue was there. Every time any of the devices looked for a printer it would say no printers found. This problem also showed in the form of being unable to sync DataVault using WiFi. After several weeks debugging the issue, contacting Ascendo support, searching through forums on Apple, Ascendo, HP and Netgear I found the cause of the problem.

I had updated the firmware on my router, a Netgear WNDR4500, to the latest version and while doing that the Wireless Isolation Checkbox was either set by default or I had a brain cramp and checkit thinking it would prevent issues in both of my wireless networks. Instead it caused me weeks of headaches trying to debug this issue.

I searched this forum back and forth for several weeks looking for answers and never found anything to point me back to the router so I decided to post my solution in the remote case it may help someone else.
