After the update to iPhoto 9.4 it keeps crashing and getting an error message

I am having the same issue as well. I even tried to redownload the update thinking it just crashed during it. That didn't help. If your question doesn't get answered on here, I am going to call apple or see if I uninstall the program and redownload it, see if that helps. But we can't be the only two having this issue.

Try this!

I deleted com.apple.iPhoto.plist file in the Library/preferences.

Open "Finder". Click "Go" menu. Then press "Option" key. The "Go" menu will display "Library" which you should click.Then go to "Preferences" folder. The file you should delete is under that folder.

This seems to be a wide problem. I contacted Apple support and they were able to correcet the problem.

Please share with us what they told you to do

It was a long drawn out process that involves logging in as root and accessing and recreating the various new files.

I suggest you contact them in the morning an they will walk you through the process. It was free....

Has this problem been fixed yet? I really do not want to update and have to deal with it. I am hoping that Apple will correct this and we don't have to.
