I open passbook and it shows all of the card options. It also shows App Store at the bottom. By changing the time of day I finally got it to go to the App Store without an error message but now I download and open the apps and they still don't load into passbook. Anybody have any thoughts.

I was wondering the same thing, I tried dragging them into passbook but no luck,apple must be having trouble with this app
Hey Guys - from what I understand and have read, there is no App to drag into Passbook. Basically, the few apps that are currently configured to work with it (MLB, Ticketmaster, Fandango, Walgreens, Live Nation, Sephora) have been updated to be Passbook compatible. So, the next time you purchase tickets for a Movie if the App is installed on the phone, the ticket itself will appear in Passbook. Same goes for each individual app.
The operations they showed in the demos (Stabucks, Airlines, etc) were prototypes and not yet working. The app developers and corporations will have to update their respective apps to have them integrate/sync with Passbook moving forward.

oK , but I was under the impression that you could store all different store cards in here,so tou wouldnt have to carry all sorts of cards,sort of like other apps like keyring
Completely understand, I was in the same boat. I have been using Keyring forever and love it. The idea of ditching all your loyalty cards to have them on the phone is definitely the way things are moving - but Passbook isn't that yet.
I think eventually it will get to that point, but it is up to the App developers themselves to redesign their apps to ingetrate with Passbook (something that as of right now only about 6 companies have done)
EVENTUALLY - it should work as demonstrated when Apple showed us the launch video but for right now, it's just a few apps that work with it. All the cool ones we saw (Airlines, Starbucks, etc) are not yet built or active.
My guess is that within a year there will be many more apps working in conjunction with it.
I still dont understand how this thing works? I have the target app and live nation app but nothing shows up in passbook?
Unfortunately Target has not yet been updated to include Passbook integration. Once they do (and the App is linked to Passbook) I imagine that is when you will see the Loyalty cards show up or any coupons etc appearing in there.

That means only these 7 apps currently are working with Passbook integration. Within the Live Nation App, in the settings or account, there should be an option to link with Passbook. If you don't see it, either you haven't updated it yet, or you have no tickets purchased for upcoming events that would show up in there.

I have a Target coupon stored in Passbook so it is integrated already. If you don't have the updated Target app it won't work though.
I used the target app last night. It appears to me that you do everything you need to do in the respective app and then move over boarding pass,, coupons tickets etc. to passbook.
I checked in live nation,nothing about passbook in settings ,however I have no tickets purchased. Still working on the target one.
A poster on another thread said once they downloaded the Walgreen's app, it showed up in Passbook under store cards automatically. I already had Walgreens and Target apps, but neither one are showing up in Passbook, no idea how to get them in there, and.all my apps are up to date. I just downloaded ticketmaster and live nation, but they arent showing in passbook either...I still get the screen which shows the different app options, with the App Store button at the bottom.
Ahh, ok, I was able to add Target and Walgreens from the apps themselves. Went to the Walgreen's app, signed up for WG rewards, ... then I got the option to add it to Passbook. For Target app, I signed up for mobile coupons, the next time I opened it I got the choice to add to Passbook as well. So I guess you have to play around with each app to add to passbook.
I just noticed a message popped up on the walgreen app to intergrate with passbook,but you have to sign in and havent created an account yet ,so stay tuned. I am still having an issue with target, which is just account related,so stay tuned for that one.
I was able load the Walgreens app to passbook, but now I can't get back to the main passbook menu! Not sure if that's the way its supposed to work or not. Tried ticketmaster, but there's no option to load to passbook. Jeez.
I think that's the way it works , I asked a guy at apple store today, he said it you only have one card in there it will just show that one
