bluetooth music issues after iOS6 update

Ok, i just updated to iOS6 today. I jump in my car to drive home, and now my radio ( pioneer svh-p3400BH) no longer shows any sont info when bluetooth streaming. I used to get artist, album, and song info. Also, when i connect it via USB, i no longer get genra infr ( pop/rock, classical, ect).

Any ideas? if this a firmware on Pioneers side, or is the blue tooth messed up in iOS6?

I have roughly $4500 in head sets and receivers that rely on parrot blue tooth modules. I'm not going to mess around with apple anymore if this ends up being more than a glitch with the iOS6 and iphone 4s..

I am not going to open my iphone 5 tomorrow until I see reports if this will work or not. If the iphone 5 will not communicate with parrot blue tooth modules, I will simply return it and I'll go grab a droid.

Apple may be able to strong arm everybody into doing things their way, but they can't do that to me.

If that's true about Apple dropping Parrot then Apple is going to have a lot of very unhappy customers. Its funny (not really funny because im really angry about this) people spend all this money in after market accessories and then to continue to get people to spend their money they slowly phase out the comparability of these products. BS!!!

Im considering putting the old iOS back onto my phone tonight until these bugs are all worked out.

If this is the case, it's very bad news. I only replaced the head unit in my car a month or so ago and specifically bought one that would work with the iPhone. I used to use an iPod Classic with an FM transmitter but after my old head unit broke, I got the BT compatible device so I could use it with the iPhone, sold the Classic and dumped the transmitter.

It still works for audio but without the controls and track info, it's a real PITA.

Is there a way to go back to 5.1.1 even after I synced my phone with 6.0 on my computer? I bought my head-unit a month ago as well. I'm EXTREMELY unhappy to say the least. I'm always defending apple when it comes to my friends and whether they should go droid or apple and honestly I'm running out of things to help my case... This is really pathetic for apple. How do they think they are not going to **** people off? Or that people would be ok with this?

Adding my gripes here. I have a 2012 VW Jetta with the RNS-315 nav unit in it. Upgraded to iOS6, and no longer have AVRCP or meta-data info on my stereo. I just spent SIX MONTHS in litigation with Volkswagen over a flaw with the Bluetooth in their 2012 lineups.. IT WAS JUST ******* RESOLVED MONDAY, and now it doesn't matter, because Apple has come to **** on my parade.

This BETTER be a bug that is fixable on Apple's end, or I'm done, for good.

"So far i see on here brand wize Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood, and Pioneer.. are all these units using a Parrot Bluetooth interface? Because someone stated before that Apple was no longer working with Parrot? Im really hoping that its just a simple firmware update that Apple will release within the next week or so."

My car does not have a Parrot bluetooth interface, so that theory is thrown out.

I have a clarion deck...cost me at least a grand...if this issue is not fixed soon I am getting a droid, apple is too worried about aesthetics and doesn't give two $hits about a working product. This is the last straw. Mine does not work at all, my deck connects and I can make and receive calls, but no working audio. The audio output selector tab doesnt even appear. Apple was too busy making their music player look good, instead of making it work well. Very disappointed. My stereo cost more than an iPhone so its obvious which one is going to get replaced first.

How does a bug this glaring get by Apple's QA? I mean, did they not bother testing Bluetooth AT ALL? It seems to not work on any device now..

Volkswagen did the same thing. Their 2012 RCD-510 stereo only streamed one half of the song over all the speakers. So, anything that was mixed heavily between left and right tracks sounded awful. Something that could have been diagnosed in 5 minutes. Apple falling right in line....

Same issue here with an Alpine unit - purchsed 4 weeks ago. Am at work now - I updated to ios6 over the air and had icloud backup off since monday (seperate issue) - my icloud backup is 5.1.1. from 17/9, the backup on my computer is also 5.1.1. based from 18/9.

Can I not just restore in itunes? (unplugging pc from internet so it can't 'see' ios6??), what are teh ssh blobs you talk of?
