Sep 25, 2012 2:13 PM in response to KingOfLimbs12by kz5fhz,I guess if so many people are passing the buck on who's fault it is that apple has changed their iOS and now stuff doesn't work. I guess if I get my ford truck reprogrammed by ford and it doesn't want to start, I guess that I COULD blame Goodyear for it!!!!!?
2+2=5.
Logical isn't it. Stop blaming the people who didn't change

Sep 25, 2012 4:20 PM in response to nikB123by joshs85,Brand new Kenwood DNX6990HD.. Can't use it with iPhone 5. No AVRCP. No firmware updates from Kenwood. *** Apple. You suck!! Guess i'll have to go give samsung some money for their products. Bye bye apple. I knew this would happen once Jobs was gone. Its true.. History repeats itself.

Sep 25, 2012 4:39 PM in response to nikB123by JcTarla,I have the same issue on Pioneer AVH-2450bt, I can´t have song information and either play/pause songs from the Pioneer.
I would love to get back to iOs 5.1.1 but I can´t do it because I don´t have a jailbreak device.
I hope Apple fix this ASAP otherwise I will start considering that Apple is no longer top quality company anymore.

Sep 25, 2012 4:47 PM in response to nikB123by SamIam123,I'm also having bluetooth problems after I updated my iPhone 4S. However I'm experiencing this problem with all types of bluetooth devices whenever i stream music. I have motorola bluetooth headphones, a logitech bluetooth bridge, bluetooth music system, you name it. All have the same problem. Once I start streaming the music every 1 -2 minutes the sound cuts off for a second or two and then comes back. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Sep 25, 2012 5:17 PM in response to nikB123by JJac11B,Well I just bought a new Jetta 3 months ago and spent an extra 1200 to have the bluetooth interface option. Now iOS 6 has ruined that. Thanks for the update!

Sep 25, 2012 8:30 PM in response to chemokingby INABT,That is fantastic! I called Alpine Tech Support yesterday about my INA-W900BTand got a "Apple is going to have to do something". They were aware
of the issue though. Good to know they are working on a firmware update. Thanks for sharing.

Which, once again, Alpine wouldn't bother to do if it were Apple's bug.

Have you tried notifying Volkswagen and/or your dealer's service department?
If you got new tires and a wheel bearing seized, would you blame say Michelin, since everything worked just fine with your old tires?

Sep 26, 2012 2:17 AM in response to William Kucharskiby JJac11B,Have not contacted vw. But this interface is made for iPhone. It was working two days ago, no issues, now I download the new iOS and it stops working. It's pretty easy to see who the culprit is. Especially since everyone else in this thread is having the same issue, iOS 6 downloaded, loss of Bluetooth media functions.

Sep 26, 2012 2:35 AM in response to nikB123by achster,Logged this with Pioneer EU, this was the response - I work in the mobile space - iOS was seeded to developers and orgs some time ago, so that they could be running from day 0. This doesn't fill me with hope... this was the day after release...
"Presently we are unaware of how the ios6 and iPhone 5 will impact on our
units.
Apple does not liase with us or any other third party manufacturers who
support their devices in the development of their product.
For this reason we will not know until once the ios6 and iPhone 5 are fully
released into the market and our research and development department have
been able to look at them and how it maybe possible to get them to work.
Please be aware that it may take time for this to fully investigated and
answers to be found."

Sep 26, 2012 4:24 AM in response to nikB123by hcvmia,I just rented a new Ford Explorer from Avis. I connected my Sprint Blackberry and my IPhone 5. Blackberry works fine. IPhone 5 has the same issue as other posts. Handsfree phone works but audio controls do not work. To that end, I'd expect that Apple will be on this.
