Hiding Purchases with iOS 6.0

I recently updated to iOS 6.0. I downloaded a useless app but couldn't hide the purchase after following the listed procedures. Is there another set of procedures I need to follow in order to hide purchases using iOS 6.0? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
