Smart playlists STILL do not display proper track order on iOS devices!

Apple really needs to fix this. Starting with iOS 4 or 5, smart playlists would not show tracks in the order they are set in iTunes unless you added a rule to them stating that "playlist is music." Once iTunes match is activated however, you cannot have that rule in a smart playlist or iTunes will inform you the playlist cannot be synched because "playlists cannot reference other playlists." This is odd because that rule is NOT referencing another playlist.

Another odd thing is that you CAN get the playlist to display properly on your iOS device with about 3 extra steps. You select the playlist to play on your iOS device and get a track playing. Now click on the album icon at the top so that iTunes displays the cover art in fullscreen. There is now another playlist indicator at the bottom right of the display. If you tap THAT playlist indicator, suddenly your playlist displays in fullscreen view and is in the proper order. Selecting the first track in this view will cause your playlist to FINALLY play in the correct order. This seriously needs to be fixed. It's a big annoyance and completely opposite of Apple's "it just works" philosophy.

I just updated to iOS 6 along with the Mountain Lion 10.8.2 update on my MacBook PRO along with iTunes 10.7 and this STILL is an issue. Unbelievable....

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1), 8GB RAM, BootCamp with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
