Hi Guys , im in need of advice as my mac os lost power when updates were being performed. the os is snow leopard, macbook early 2008 and have lost my OS cd too.

Buy another 10.6 DVD (retail) by ringing an Apple store and ordering one over the phone. They are not so expensive.
As it stands, with no backup and no DVD your lack of resources makes recovery impossible.
