Q: I have updated my iPad 3 to iOS 6, but Siri is not working

You have it enabled in Settings > General > Siri ?

In my case there is no siri icon on my ipad3 . i cant even enabel it   so what should i do can u help me  pls

Me too. I have updated my IPad3 to IOS 6, and there is nothing about Siri. I have only the Wifi model.

You won't get an icon on the homescreen, it's accessed by pressing and holding the home button. If you haven't got the Settings > General > Siri option, then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Siri being set 'off' ?

Also keep in mind that Siri requires a connection to Apple to function. If your iPad (3rd generation) is WIFI only you need to have a live WIFI connection for Siri to work. If you have a 3g iPad (3rd generation) Siri will work without WIFI as long as you have the Cellular Data turned on.

That is normal, you don't get an icon on the homescreen, just press and hold the home button to use it

II've installed IOS6 on my next gen iPad, have Siri enabled, but everything I ask comes back that she's having trouble. Been that way for two hours

This solved my question:

People if u dnt have an icon of siri on your ipad u can try one more thigh. As King_Penguin said u have to go to Gereral>Restrictions then u enable it then check if siri is on then again disable the whole restriction itself . When you come back to general the will be siri tab.  It should be the 4 one in the list from the top .It is just below the USAGE TAB.  Touch the SIRI tab then   turn it ON . Here you go siri is enabled.

There is NO Siri icon. Hold the Home button down for 10 seconds. When you see the mic, you have Siri.
