iOS 6 keyboard apostrophe not working

Has anyone noticed how the apostrophe on the comma/exclamation mark button doesn't work anymore in iOS 6 when you press and hold it? The apostrophe pops up to show what will be entered but it actually then enters a comma instead.

When iPad 1 came out, the way to get the apostrophe (other than going to the numbers page) was to upsweep on the comma key. Worked for me maybe 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time I ended up with words like can,t and don,t.

Then came an upgrade that placed an appostrophe simply by hesitating your finger on the comma key. That was good 'til yesterday.

Now we're back to the upsweep on the comna key approach.

Since experiencing this apostrophe frustration (it's not a small issue), and then experiencing problems (apparently like most everyone else) with the Apple Maps app, iOS 6 is beginning to feel more like a downgrade (they really need to send Apple Maps back to the developers with orders to do it right and give us back our Google maps in the meantime).

Until the fixes come in I'm going to go back to using my iPad 1, at least for most things.
