Again: NO LYRICS in Music App iOS 6 ?

I used to have lyrics in my 6th Generation iPod Classic 120GB...4 years later in an iPhone 4S i don't have them.

I think is pathetic. Is not the evolution of a product at all.

Yep, reconsidering going Apple with my upcoming tablet upgrade. Have been a Mac fan for years and years, but am sick and irked of their heavy-handed control. I used to practice foreign languages by listening to my paid-for music by reading along the lyrics. Another major hit to my Apple allegiance.

I am thinking of doing the same. The arrogance of Apple is on the rise and the gap with its competitors is decreasing. This kind of little abuses are intolerable, moreover since they remain unexplained.

Would anyone know if and how to migrate the contents of itunes to another system like Android?

Except that's not an available option on an iPad, the subject of this discussion.

I spent HOURS and HOURS of my time putting lyrics into over half of my 22,000+ songs only to have Apple decide to eliminate the lyrics function from the iPad. It's this kind of thing that makes me regret going all Apple.

Meg, not to be rude, but I did contact Apple. This is a discussion forum, and like other people on here i was discussing my frustration with Apples way of doing things sometimes. It's called venting. It made me feel better. Get over it.

Actually, it is not. This is a technical support forum, not a place to vent (read the TOU).

I too am not happy about the absence of lyric support on the iPad, but the only recourse at this time is to tell Apple directly in the link provided.

Submit the feedback now with the GM of iOS 7 for iPad STILL not having lyrics. Perhaps they can do an update in 7.0.1 or 7.1 (there are bugs aplenty in the GM for iPad of iOS 7 anyway) and re-include it. ALL they have to do is create a button that reads the sound file's metadata that contains lyrics. It's SUPER EASY.

Just loaded IOS7 on my iPad. Lyrics is back on iPad with IOS7. Wohoo!!

Tap "Now playing" when music is playing and it will display the Album art filling the whole page. Tap on the album art will bring up the Lyrics.
