Hi Folks,
since I upgraded my iPhone 3GS to iOS 6 push on my Gmail-accounts (which have been configured as exchange-accounts due to being advised to do so by google) won't work. Switching between 3G and WiFi does not change this.
Can anybody confirm this problem or even provide me with a proper solution?

I have the same problem with my iPad 2. It seems there is a horrible bug... I regret that I upgraded to iOS 6....
Morover, maps are poor comparing to google.
I had the same problem on an iPhone 4 (A1332, MC605C) and I got push back on my GMail (GApps) account by deleting and re-creating the account.
I was able to solve the problem by deleting the accounts, rebooting my device and then recreating them. I hope this is helpful to others.
I just tried doing what waas reccomended here on my Iphone4 and Ipad2 and I am still not getting my AOL push emails unless I ask for them 😟 I do have an Iphone5 on order so I hope it works on that device.
Push isn't working on my iPhone 4 either. I have about 5 accounts and really dont want to have to remove them all and add them all back.
Not to mention I have about 100 folders so I would have to go through and check all of the folders again on each mailbox that I want to auto push.
Apple you have any plans on fixing this??
I removed my accounts on my Iphone4 and Ipad2 and put them back in, This did not resolve the issue. Grrrrrrr
I guess QC went out the window ??? I would think that as a corporation, they'd pull their collective heads out of their butts !! It's not like email on a phone is a new, rarely used fringe application. If they can't ensure that email connections will work BEFORE releasing the system, what the heck else are they not looking at ?
This is a horrible bug. They need to fix it now.
I tried the suggested fix and it worked. Still a sensless bug, that should have been addressed by corporate BEFORE releasing the update.
I have AOL email and this did not work for me. did you also delete your icloud account and add that back in? I did not do that. I only removed my AOL and added it back.

I am not running any outlook or other email via an exchange server. Just straight AOL which is not pushing on IOS6
Tried deleting and re-adding AOL accounts again this morning, and emails began being pushed from AOL as before the upgrade.
Susect this may be an AOL issue not an IOS 6 issue.
I have the problem too. Gmail, yahoo and corp email stopped working after ios 6 upgrade on iPhone 4. Can't find a solution.
