Whatsapp not working well after iOS6.0 upgrade

I'm having the same exact issue on my 3GS... Any idea on how to get profile pictures back?

I'm having the same issue after updating to IOS6 this AM (20/09). Funnily enough I had an update for Whatsapp yesterday to "fix issues with IOS6". Maybe we'll get another update soon!

are you on 3GS as well? i wonder if this is issue is specific to the older iphone and not with newer models (4/4S)

Same here - my Whatsapp profile pictures not showing. I had the same problem happening after I upgraded to iOS 6 this morning. I use an iphone 4G. At least I know I'm not alone.

My suggestion is to send whatsapp your application debugging information so that they can come out with a fix ASAP. I have already sent them mine.

To send whatsapp your application debugging information, go to whatsapp > settings > about > contact us > and type the problem in, e.g. "Whatsapp profile pictures not showing after I upgraded to iOS 6" . Do NOT press "Have you read the FAQ yet". Instead click Done. If you have any privacy concerns, you will have a chance to review all the information before it sends. I'm no expert but it SEEMS quite harmless, it just tells them what operating system you use etc.

Hopefully if enough people do this they will fix this "Whatsapp profile pictures not showing" problem. Its really annoying.

I'm having the same problem too.. Im using a Iphone 4.. Whatsapp profile pic not showing, Last seen has some problems.. The whole whatsapp application became slow.. Am wondering whether is IOS 6 suitable for our models besides the 5..

I'm having the same issue with the iphone 4

The same here too on the 4S (the pictures not up-to-date)

You can get your contacts back through SETTINGS > Privacy > Contacts and then > Whatsapp

Is it just the photo for you guys? After updating, my whatsapp doesn't show the contact names (my contact list is still intact). I have a 4G.

has anyone tried reinstalling the app?

I thought about reinstalling the app but I'm worried it will lose all my chat history. For me I will probably wait till whatsapp releases a new version. They are usually pretty responsive with these things.
