    jptyson:

Just removefrom the Applications folder to the Trash and redownload from app store, that will fix missing frameworks in your Aperture application package.

Moved the App to the Trash OK, but the app store wants to charge me again!

, but the app store wants to charge me again!

You should download Aperture from the "Purchased" tab in the AppStore. All apps you own should be there. If you do not see Aperture in the "Purchased" section you may have signed into the store with a different Apple ID then you used when you purchased it.

Or you may have hidden the App. Then you need to unhide it. again. See Mac App store Hiding and Unhiding Purchases http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928

Or did you buy from the Apple Store, not the AppStore?

I had the same problem already with version 3.3. I had to delete the app last time. I only forgot it and lost a day! I will need to see if this will solve the problem!

Thanks for the reply, I checked my old invoices and I hadn't purchased from the App store (or the Apple store) but from a download.  I re-installed using the link in one of the previous posts and upgraded OK.  Bit of a pain though @apple and judging by the amount of similar posts a fairly widespread problem that should have been picked up before release.

By letting Aperture do the repair. It is really necessary. It may take some time, however. Hopefully for the last time.
