Q: When do we get @icloud.com email? Merge with @me Apple ID?

Hi All,

I have an @me.com email address and that is the address I use for all my Apple accounts (icloud, itunes, etc).  With iOS 6 released when can we just start seamlessly using @icloud.com instead of @me.com for our accounts and for our email?  Is there something explicit we need to do to sign up for it / make the merge?

I'd like to just start using my @icloud.com email address and use that as my icloud, itunes, etc login.
