I am installing an iPad in a public area and I want them to be able to see the iPad in a Kiosk Mode, to have 4 Game Apps to choose from. And not be able to see other options. With the new iOS 6.0 is that an option

Not if you want to offer a selection of several different apps, no. There is a sort of "kiosk" mode, called "Guided Access", where you can restrict the user to a single app.

But there is no way to lock the iPad down while allowing the users to access more than a single app.

There actually is mode called "KIOSK MODE" that you can set your ipad to disable the home button and open only the configured app. It will require software on your PC and coding but you can google Kiosk Mode for iOS. I have successfully deploy thousands of iPads to retailers like this. Theres definatley a way.

I presume you're referring to "store demo mode". That hack is no longer necessary with iOS 6 with the Guided Access. But again, it allows only a single app to be run and that's not what the OP was asking for.

Did you ever find a workable setup for what you wanted to achieve? I don't see anyway to do it with the current security options in iOS.
