Is anyone else having issues updating Microsoft Office 2008 with Snow Leopard running?

I just started using Snow Leopard and today I received a message to update my Microsoft Office 2008. I normally have no issues with any updates ever. They are usually uneventful and effortless.

Today I am getting an installation error. After two tries I performed Disk Utility checks on my hard drive. Not sure what else to do and if these updates are ok to forego, but I doubt it.
