I can find no sign of a User's Guide or manual on the Apple Support website. Some things (Flyover in Maps) are not working on either my iPhone 4s or new iPad, and other functions are not particularly easy to figure out.
Did Apple really release iOS 6 with no documentation for users?

I had the same question, and can't believe they would release so many new features without releasing a user guide to go along with it! I've figured out (on my own, thankyouverymuch) how to get Flyover to work. You need to make sure your maps are in either Hybrid or Satellite mode. You can do this by tapping what looks like an up-turned page on the lower right hand side of your screen.
