Two Motorola S305 headsets paired to Mac Mini

I am trying to use two Motorola S305 headses paired to Mac Mini. I would like to do so because when one is charging I can use the other. Both headsets pair fine. But when I try to use the second paired device no sound is routed to it. But as soon as I turn on the first paired headset it connects and routes the sound properly.

Anyone have any ideas for me to try out to fix this problem? Thank you.

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.

Probably because you have never chosen the second one as an output device in Sys Prefs/Sound/Output.

Thank you. That solved the problem. It is wierd though, with my first bluetooth headset, as soon as I turn it on Mac prompts asking if I want to use that device and as soon as I select continue the sound is redirected to the headset. When I turn if off the sound is redirected to the system speakers. But with the second headset in addition to what I do with the first one I have to select it as output device in the Sys Prefs.

But now at least I can use both. So thanks for your help.
