IOS6 crash when moving icons.

I have the same problem.

I can duplicate it 100% of the time.

I move an icon out of a group and it resprings springboard and loses my changes.

I have this problem too. VERY annoying first taste of Apple's new "improved" system.

This happens to me, PLUS now one of the icons keeps moving by itself back and forth between pages, leaving a blank space in the row of icons.

I was able to work around it by plugging into my computer and using the desktop's iTunes to rearrange the icons. Still annoying.

Same here. iPhone4 w/ iOS6.

My 4S does the same but also goes dim after it crashes. It will do this 100% of the time.

A bug report has been filed, and it has been classified as a duplicate of other bugs - so Apple is aware of the problem.

Yes, me too. Slightly differnt than the OP video. I updated to 6, moved a bunch of stuff around. Made a new folder and moved a few apps into it and when I tried to move the folder it crashed. But the folder never moved, when I let go it sprang off the page I was on and the phone crashed. I can move the icons out of the folder, but anytme I try to move one to a different page it crashes again. And is dim after the restart.

I had a similar crash, I simply moved an app from page 2 into a folder on page 1 and pressed home and it immediately crashed. I reproduced this, but managed to get it to move the third time, by switching to a different page before pressing home.

I was able to reproduce the following:

I drag an icon over several pages and place it in a folder.

When I press the home button to end the homescreen editing, the phone reboots.

Yep, me too. Thanks for the tip on using itunes. At least I can do something.

I have the same problem. Phone crashes when moving apps. When it restarts it's so dim i can hardly find my way to brightness in settings to reset the brightness. 😟

I'm having the same problem. Apple Support says this is a known issue that will be resolved with the first iOS 6 maintenance release...

Try to deactivate the FACEBOOK INTEGRATION (go to settings).. After i removed it to my iphone 4 All apps are now doing fine... No more crashing of apps :-) hope it works for you...
