Anyone still having IOS 6 wifi issues?

I'm currently waiting on Apple support to call me back about this issue, but I thought I would reach out here to see if anyone else is having similar issues.

I upgraded to IOS 6 yesterday afternoon, and immediately after I could no longer connect to the Wifi at my place of employment. Everyone had this issue, no big deal.

Went home, Wifi worked fine.

Came into work this morning and I am still unable to connect. I have tried all of the various recommended fixes, and even gone so far as to do a complete restore. I work at a university with multiple networks and access points and have tried connecting to several, both secure and unsecure, with no luck.

This is what happens:

Unsecure Networks: Attempt to connect, wheel spins, Error Message: "Unable to Connect"

Secure Network: Attempt to connect, prompted for password, enter password, Error Message: "Incorrect Password" (Yes I entered the correct password, I tried multiple times, and the IT tech was able to connect to it with his iPad 2 running IOS 5)

I am also not the only one, everyone on campus who has upgraded their iPad 3 to IOS 6 is unable to connect. (All staff/factulty have iPads, most have upgraded)

I have spoken with the IT department and they are baffled, they have tried rebooting various routers and access points to no avail.

Obviously there is something different happening in IOS 6 that is causing these issues. My question is has anyone else encoutered this issue, and if so what have you done to fix it?

I have seen people above who have upgraded firmware on their personal wireless routers with success, but for a university with literally hundress of access points and routers this is out of the question, at least in the short term.

Definitely still an issue, I have had dozens of different devices never have issue getting connected to my Netgear WNDR3700, then friend's Apple iPhone 5 could not. Thought nothing of it until family member got iPhone 5 and we had to get her connected or end up suffering data overages. All iPods and iPhones from 4s back, all Android and other devices no trouble at all, ever. Just iPhone 5. Like others, have tried everything, but refuse to revert to older version of router software as some have success with. I had another router not in use so added it to network as access point so that did the trick, but I am highly irritated. Like others say, maps, youtube, and now this apparently long time issue with wifi, should be warning mandated at POS that some routers are not compatible...I cannot believe how long and widespread this issue is? At lease maps was addressed. I feel scammed. When is a fix coming?????????????????

Apple is having my iPad 2 shipped back to them because of this issue. They actually told me at first that I would just have to buy a new one because its a firmware issue all the while acknowledging that their software update caused the problem I have NEVER had any issues with getting online on mine. No wireless networks show up anywhere. Its not a Netgear or router issue. Apple has a bug they are aware of and dont know how to fix or they would have issued and update to fix it. As far as I can tell its only happening to iPad 2's. So after much arguing and yelling they are going to replace or fix it.

oh please do tell. Please explain to me how my iPad 2 will not pick up ANY wifi, anywhere now after updating it. So EVERY router is effed up then? There are 10+ in my office builiding and not a single one shows up - on my iPhone they do, so why dont they show up on my iPad?

If your iPad 2 doesn't see any WiFi networks then it has a hardware problem and needs to be replaced. It's as simply as that.

and the fact that this happened when i did the update last week has no connection? Yeah right. Immediately after it updated, i sat on my couch and opened it and it wasnt online. I started troubleshooting it right then. It was on before, because i downloaded the update wirelessly. You cannot tell me at that exact moment the hardware in my 13 month old iPad just happened to fail. Oh and Apple doesnt agree with you. The engineers are aware of the problem and they have FedEx picking it up from me today to fix or replace it. Its out of warranty. They acknowledged its their update. Not any router issue.
