Safari keep shuting down before it loads, this started when I was updating my mac with the new lion os, how can I fix this

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

Create a new user and log in as that user, and see if Safari works over there. If it does, then it's probably something in your local login environment related to Safari. If the other user also has trouble with Safari, then there's a more general problem with Safari.


Also check the console (Applications > Utilities > Console.app) when Safari tips over, and see if there's anything relevant logged there.
